Khan Sha’ar Hagai, Commemorating Jerusalem Convoys
Khan Sha’ar Hagai Heritage Center is an exquisite, creative memorial to the heroic convoys battling to open the blockade on Jerusalem in 48. The museum is located in a renovated old khan which served travelers to Jerusalem since the 19th century.

Bab el Wad and the Siege of Jerusalem
Bab el Wad, Sha’ar Hagai, is where the fiercest battles over Jerusalem were fought in 1948, as convoys tried to starving besieged city. Historical accounts and family stories are quoted.
