No natural law prescribes hot water in the tub,

Apples in the pantry,

Body cream and lotion…

Wake up with the shrieks and howls

Freeze as the night creeps in.

Just because society bars us from the world

Does not mean

Insurance will save us from ourselves,

The hate tree won’t bear fruit,

The millennial dust will spare the metropolis…
