Druze Secret Religion – For the Chosen Few
Druze religion is secretive, known only to those who choose a strict and demanding religious life. Honorability, clean tongue and conduct are required. Lay people are bound by less rules, but must marry within the community.

Druze Crisis in Syria – Horrors, Analysis, and What Next?
July 13th 2024 was the Druze day of indescribable horrors, their “October 7th” so to speak. I bring analysis from some intelligent journalists and questions about the future.

Druze – Israel’s Mountain Allies and Tactics of Survival
Druze are a tiny religious minority in Israel and the world, yet they are fearless warriors, who over years of persecution have developed effective tactics of survival. Druze are indispensable to the Israeli army, and well integrated into society.

Manu Temple, Manali, Himachal Pradesh
Manu temple in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, is the only temple for Manu, the first man. Like Noah, he was the only man saved from the Big Flood, to restart humanity. He was also the first law-giver and saved the vedas from the flood during his seventh reincarnation.

The Road from Manali/Jispa to Leh , Part II – Ladakh
Jispa to Leh, the second leg of the trip from Manali to Leh includes the highest motorized passes in the world. Awesome views of peaks, glaciers, undulating rivers, pristine lakes, erosive formations, as well as charming stop-overs where you can have a Ladakhi dish or buy a woolen hat.

Manali to Leh Jeep Trip – Part I – Himachal Pradesh
Manali to Leh I – green Himachal Pradesh section. My Felix Felicis day – awesome views, great company, music, photo opportunities, and a peak experience: moonrise over the Himalaya.

The Israeli Phenomenon in India, Part 3 – The Case of Bhagsu
Israelis in Bhagsu. If you thought you knew why Israelis come to India, read this post and be ready for surprises. Post compares Hindu and Israeli tourism to this friendly village in the lower Himalayas. Everybody co-exists and cultural co-fertilization brings about interesting results.

Bamba, Turkish Coffee and the Legendary Hezi
Falafel and Israeli salad in every corner Bhagsu is not sufficient. How can the Israeli traveler survive without his fix of Turkish coffee and Bamba?

The Israeli Trail in India – From Lower Bhagsu to Upper Dharamkot
The Israeli trail can be found in India, complete with the trail’s markers, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, problems, joys. Welcome to India if you want to know Israel!

Liquids of Life
Sperm, milk, birth waters,
Saliva, blood, tears…
For hundreds of millions of years –
Transferred
In an Endless Chain of Being

Jerusalem’s Alternative
Tiger pants and tight leather,
Firm breasts over high heels
Wafts of air picking up mini skirts
Touching soft flesh
Coiled into ringed bellybuttons.

Freak Wave
You came onto my life
Like a freak wave
Everything rose,
Then crashed over the deck

Liquids of Life
Sperm, milk, birth waters,
Saliva, blood, tears…
For hundreds of millions of years –
Transferred

Galleries
Since a big part of this website is dedicated to world traveling, this collection of photo galleries is focused on the beauty, variety and creativity of the Land of Israel. An emphasis on the desert will soon be balanced with more pictures from the North and Center.

Photo gallery. Night magic in the sea and the city of Eilat.

Snowy Edom Mountains

Jerusalem With Night Vision – Above, Below & in the Middle

Bitronot Ruhama Reserve, Northern Negev Tranquility
Bitronot Ruhama is a unique nature reserve in Israel’s Negev, featuring spring wildflowers, desert trees, rolling hills among deep crevasses. It is located by Kibbutz Ruhama with its own interesting history and tourist attractions.
